Opportunity Revelation - Cogitative powers of the brain

Abstract: This article argues is in favour of a different vocabulary or conceptual labels for entrepreneurial and artistic work in their individual skills in early phases, and the article is drawing upon new scientific facts from the areas of neuroscience and neuorophilosophy. Even though it could be argued to be a remote source, for the arts and entrepreneurship, I will in due time show its relevance. We will make a connection from the neurosciencies, philosophy of neurosciencies and towards own areas, without having any ambition to contribute to those areas, but claim that we have something to feed to the research in the field of entrepreneurship and the arts, concerning understanding of early phases of creation.

This paper uses a method of a grounded philosophical approach (A) containing a rough overview of relevant literature for early creation processes all the way from the neurosciences'  and neurophilosophy to entrepreneurship, combined with an illustration from an autoethnographic case (B). The grounded philosophical approach is a procedure for finding a reasonable ground for subjective based processes using facts from research undertaken by scientists in other research areas. The illustration shows the appearance of an art idea within a particular art process, a way of appearance of ideas that can not be included in traditional theoretical art/entrepreneurial concepts. The autoethnographic case illustrates a problem of how to catch subjective based creation processes, in their early phases, with existing theoretical concepts. This paper therefore, tries to develop another conceptual framework for early based creation processes based on scientific facts, based on philosophical reasoning combined with the first person insights through the empirical case. First, we need a short and rough summary and orientation of what has been written in the field of entrepreneurship, especially when it comes to early creation processes and in particular the concept of "opportunity recognition", before we get into the proposed philosophical "re-orientation".
